Messages are conveyed through words, vocal qualities, and body language, with words accounting for less than 10% of how the actual meaning is derived. When we rely on electronic messages to communicate, via email and text, more than 90% of the context is missing. This seemingly quicker route can lead to miscommunication which in turn may take additional time to clarify. Best practice is to find time to use face-to-face communication for the most important messages you need to impart
